Adobe Reader - READ OUT LOUD - changing the Reading Voice for text to speech

QUESTION: How can I change the Reading Voice for text to speech in Adobe Reader?

ANSWER:  Go to EDIT/PREFERENCES and choose "Reading".
Within Reading you will see a section called "Read Out Loud Options".
Here you can change
    Volume
    Voice
  • Beside Voice is a dropdown box that allows you to select from different voices on your computer.
  • I chose Microsoft Zira Desktop - English (United States)
    Pitch
    Words Per Minute
When changes are ready to apply, click on "OK" button at the bottom.

I searched in vain for a solution and just decided to poke around.
And I was happy that I did.
